The nine Regional Screen Agencies (RSAs) are development agencies charged with building vibrant and sustainable media sectors within the English Regions and encouraging public access to film culture.
Set up during 2002/03, typically bringing together existing regional film bodies, commissions and media development agencies, RSAs are self governing bodies which receive the majority of their funding from the UK Film Council, through the Regional Investment Fund for England (RIFE).
